How shipped:
All hoists and docks are shipped unassembled (broken down) and strapped to a wooden pallet. Assembly is required.
Shipping requirements:
1) You must be present for delivery; the purchaser must sign to accept delivery.
2) You are responsible to unload the truck. It is not the driver’s job to unload the truck. The driver cannot assist beyond unloading the truck.
3) You will need something to cut the metal bands “strapping” such as “tin snips” in order to unload the palette by hand. Please have tin snips on hand for delivery.
4) Items are heavy and will need at least two people to unload the truck. For dock deliveries, it is wise to have 4 people to carry 1 piece of dock.
5) Gloves are recommended due to rough and sharp edges.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Question: What Lift is right for me?
Answer: You first want to get a lift that will operate for you, in order to do this you have to have the right size, check your boat’s weight, add in the weight of fuel, equipment and maybe some people, this number tells you what weight capacity you need. The second dimension you need to consider is the width of your boat. This number is also known as the “Beam.” To determine the beam of your boat, this can be found in the owner’s manual of your boat or NADA website. The rule of thumb is that you want about 18” or more of clearance; this gives you 9" on either side. Keep in mind, if ordering your lift with Full Length Centering Guides, the Guides are approximately 6" wide on each side. Now you know how much capacity you need and what size width. Sometimes people decide to upgrade boats, so getting a larger rather than a smaller lift might be a better idea.
